Music lovers!

Allow us to introduce Canal Street Syncopators, a Swedish big band from the city of Uppsala just north of Stockholm. The band performs original style jazz and sheet music from the twenties and thirties.

Ladies and gentlemen - our words of honour are music for every occasion. In our books of music you find a broad and varied repertoire, practically everything from the frenetic sound of the twenties to the more sober elegance that was characteristic of the thirties. Among our musical inspirers are world famous genre stylists such as Louis Armstrong and Duke Ellington, as well as Swedish national celebrities such as Sven Arefeldt and Johhny Bode.

Canal Street Syncopators has performed in several Swedish jazz festivals, during its eighteen years of existence. In addition, the orchestra is frequently engaged for dance and entertainment at balls and other festivities.

The orchestra consists of a number of excellent singers, soloists and entertainers, which provides for a genuine overall musical experience.
